I have enjoyed journalism very much this year, but I don’t think I have been the best journalist I could have been. I think handing things in on time should be the focus of my improvement. This would help eliminate the Zs I have accumulated throughout the year.
Journalism has helped correct my grammar, and improved my proofreading skills tremendously.
Those skills helped me greatly on my PSAT and I hope to continue to improve my English skills. Though our newspaper is excellent I think that the spelling errors made could have been avoided if the articles had been looked out very carefully beforehand. More advertisements could have probably been put in and that’s something we should all work on, though I myself haven’t given ads in.
Another idea is that of maybe some more help on how to interview people because that is something that I have had problems with.
As a whole I think our class is super. Between you serenading us on your guitar and Patrick fooling around, this class has been very fun. This class is very enjoyable, and not the way I expected it to be. Anytime someone needs help you’re there or another student is there to give advice or help out.
